Dahmer – Monster
TV Series
I should give this series a five star review but I am not. The reasons I am not is the same as the reasons that I would use for a five star. First of all. My wife and I found it extremely graphic.
Secondly for the first time ever I saw Dahmer as a little boy, as a teenager. As a human. A monster, yes, but a human monster.
As for the acting it was unreal. The actors really made the series pop.
A lot of the info contained here within was not shared or did not make the international news. Not that I read in anyway. So a lot of this was more food for thought for me. I must say. I came away with so much more than I anticipated.
The detail was unsurpassed. Every facet that could be covered within a certain time span of a mini series, was covered.
And the victims.
Although many of them was not really delved into, the number of victims is no longer an issue. The fact that he did what he did to one individual is bad enough. The victims started to take on persona’s for me. The series brought the truth home. People with hope and aspirations of their own, people with dreams and families were brutally killed. This is an amazing series but seriously not for the faint of heart.
