E=mc². Just about everyone has at least heard of Albert Einstein’s formulation of 1905, which came into the world as something of an afterthought. But far fewer can explain his insightful linkage of energy to mass. David Bodanis offers an easily grasped gloss on the equation. Mass, he writes, “is simply the ultimate type of condensed or concentrated energy,” whereas energy “is what billows out as an alternate form of mass under the right circumstances.”

Just what those circumstances are occupies much of Bodanis’s book, which pays homage to Einstein and, just as important, to predecessors such as Maxwell, Faraday, and Lavoisier, who are not as well known as Einstein today. Balancing writerly energy and scholarly weight, Bodanis offers a primer in modern physics and cosmology, explaining that the universe today is an expression of mass that will, in some vastly distant future, one day slide back to the energy side of the equation, replacing the “dominion of matter” with “a great stillness”–a vision that is at once lovely and profoundly frightening.

 

What I thought about this book

Right, this is my review. I have gathered small pieces of info in my life and it was lying around in my brain like Lego blocks. When I came across this book, I had to have it. My loving wifey got it for me and I started reading.

I have read The Secret and Rich Dad, Poor Dad and a number of those self-help, get rich books and somehow it didn’t make sense. I always wondered how these authors came across their theories. This book is literally the science behind all those self-help books. And David Bodain explains it in really easy to understand terms and examples.

Now this is how it links up with money making Monday.

The equation states that E is energy, M is mass, C is the speed of light. Read the book to understand why speed of light is in the equation. For now, that is what the symbols stand for. 

So what it means is – Energy is your energy you put into the universe by doing simple things. For example cleaning your house, doing the garden, things that give you that feel good feeling afterwards. Positive things.

Mass is basically self explanatory. There are other things too that uses mass. Example: if you speak positive words, say it loudly. The words actually have mass. Yes, believe it.

C is speed of light. This is the speed at which your good, positive energy travels at.

To put it together. You want to make money right. Now put in all your energy and focus into that thought. Your words spoken loudly multiplies with the speed of light to the power of two. So the universe listens to the words spoken and weight it carries and receives the energy. It then gives you what you ask for.

The reverse is also true. When you speak negatively, complain a lot, speak ill of other people, that too comes back. 

So to cap this off. Your words have power and speed. Speak positive thoughts and focus on that thoughts and it will be sent to the universe at the speed of light to the power of two.  

This is how you make money and in general have a better life.
